I stand corrected...

So, for the past few months, I have been telling my friends that Marvel bringing The Guardians of the Galaxy to the big screen sounded like a lame idea.

But then I saw the trailer...



I hate to say it, but I am intrigued. Though, I still think its a bad idea to continue making separate Avengers movies (Thor 2, Iron Man 3, etc.) rather than focusing on more team movies.

    Hahaha! I had no idea that it was that close. I'm with you; I thought that was a totally dumb move, but making this out to be really campy and take itself about as seriously as Ghostbusters makes it, potentially, a brilliant move after all.

    I watch a trailer like that and I realize just how skillful the magic makers in Tinsel Town can be. Generally, I cannot stand that "Hooked on a Feeling" song. But after watching The Guardians of the Galaxy trailer, I hear 'Hooga Chocka, Hooga Hooga Hooga Chocka" and it brings a smile to my face.

    Yeah, it's a stupid song, but that's what makes it so incredibly perfect for this trailer...
